Introduction​

The KOBIL App Builder is a visual editor designed to simplify the process of building and customizing modular Home Screens within the KOBIL SuperApp platform. It allows product teams to design app layouts without writing code, by assembling reusable services and organizing them into structured, interactive screens.

When and Why to Use It​

Use the App Builder when you want to:

  1. Log in to your KOBIL Portal workspace.
  2. Click on App Builder from the top navigation bar.
  3. The App Builder interface will open, showing the DEFAULT Home Screen by default.

Overview of What Users Will Accomplish​

With the App Builder, users can:

  • Create new Home Screens tailored to specific audiences or use cases.
  • Structure those screens into sections, and optionally group them with tabs.
  • Add components such as banners, news, lists, or sliders that pull data from backend services.
  • Control layout using templates and manage visual hierarchy with the Layers panel.
  • Preview and publish their screens with confidence.
